Do you have a great location for a film?
We are building a locations library for Victoria and Vancouver Island. If you think that you have a property that would look good in a movie then send us pictures and fill in our form.
BUT, if you have never used your property in a film before, please pause and consider a few points:
- It is NOT a peaceful experience; a full film crew could be 30 people or more.
- There is a large amount of equipment.
- Do you have a room for equipment and crew?
- Do you have another room for hair and make-up?
- Do you have space for the action - rooms have to be reasonably sized.
- Do you know which direction the windows of your house face?
- Do you know when the rooms get direct sunlight through the windows?
We cannot guarantee that your property will be used and if someone is interested there would be a number of short visits made by the production companies before the shoot to short-list the location and ensure it will work technically.
