The Alpha Select certification ensures that your accommodation exceeds the guest's expectation every time. Our inspections cover cleanliness, inventory, amnenities and hospitality. In addition Alpha Select has a professional photographer to photograph your accommodation.
We have a membership package that includes an inventory checklist that helps you prepare for the inspection.
In some areas on Vancouver Island you require a license from the city to provide transient accommodations. This allows you to offer daily rentals. For condos or houses that are not transient zoned vacation rentals are permitted however, you can only provide monthly rentals.

We have three certification levels awarded based on cleanliness, comfort and amenities. In order to be a member of Alpha Select all accommodations must have a minimum single rating: clean and comfortable.
- Our single rating vacation home rentals have a high standard of cleanliness, comfort and hospitality.
- A double rating includes more amenities such as ensuite washer/dryer and rooftop deck with BBQ.
- Our highest rating is equivalent to a five star accommodation with concierge service and more
